Pre-School
We are proud of our Pre-school. We have hard working, dedicated teachers who are well prepared for their profession. They are using modern teaching materials from the United States and Mexico to teach these three, four and five year-olds in an English immersion program.
If you are a parent interested in having questions answered about the program, a community member or business wishing to participate through volunteering or contributing donations, or an Educator wishing to learn more about Early Childhood Education, we welcome your questions.
We hope to address some general elements of the program in the few following paragraphs. Do not hesitate to contact us for more detailed information.
In our Pre-school section we give ourselves time to imagine, time to discover, time to explore, be happy, learn; it is a fun place to be. The children learn through our program of activities: English, art, mathematics, values, computers, physical education, music and movement, community and environment work, preparation for reading, and science classes. We want out children to learn to appreciate the language, culture and traditions of other cultures. At the same time we are rooted in Mexican traditions and values.
Academic development goes hand in hand with character development. Both are important aspects of character formation. Pre-school is a stage in which children begin to use emotional, social, physical, and academic skills necessary for success in school, and in life.
