Curriculum

All schools teach. Not all schools teach in the same way. There is no one “right” way or method of presenting lessons to students; rather, students learn in many different ways. Balance is our strength. At JFK a variety of ideas and techniques have been incorporated based upon findings of important educational theories and research; building a unique and effective way of teaching and promoting learning.

The curriculum reflects an engaging academic program from pre-school through high school. It challenges students to reach their full potential. This curriculum stimulates a life-long love of learning. It prepares each student to pursue the best future university opportunities found in Mexico and throughout the world. The program maintains high standards, using texts from both the United States and Mexico.

High school activities

Students discover and learn through a variety of developmentally appropriate activities; time is given to imagine, create, explore and learn by doing. Interaction with others in cooperative, problem solving situations and natural experiences support the social nature of learning. This has profound implications for all learning and particularly learning of a second language which is an intensive social activity.
