Facilities
The physical environment in which students spend each day will have an affect on their learning experience. An appropriate environment includes green areas and open spaces, along with clean and clutter-free classrooms and ample opportunity to experience learning in a variety of spaces. Our High School includes the following facilities, designed with the needs of students at the forefront of our concerns:
- 16 well-equipped classrooms, with natural and artificial lighting, internet connections, TV, DVD, Computer and projector.
- 2 state of the art science laboratories built recently to the highest international school standards.
- Computer laboratory with modern technological facilities
- Research-lab for computer and internet access within the modern Media Center
- Music classroom
- Dedicated art rooms for painting, sculpture, modeling, etc
- Photo-lab
- Auditorium and equipped gymnasium
- Other sports facilities including floodlit 7-a-side football pitch with Astroturf and basketball court with spectator seating, full-size football pitch, running track and various other basketball and volleyball courts
- ‘Patio’ area with trees to relax at recess and between classes
- Cafeteria with separate seating area, and providing a range of hot and cold foods.
- 2 outdoor sheltered areas used for ‘outdoor’ classes
- Modern air-conditioned offices including open areas for teacher-student tutorials and conference room.
- The High School area is supplied with wireless internet connection and many students enjoy the use of laptops sitting in the open spaces.
