We have always known that the John F. Kennedy School is a great place to work and now an important external evaluation has shown this to be true. It is now official; we are a great place to work!
This year between 450 – 500 companies in Mexico applied for certification from “A Great Place to Work Institute, Inc.”, an international organization devoted to assessment of job satisfaction in the workplace. You can find out more about their work at

They work in fifty-two different countries around the world. Of all these many Mexican applicants, eighty eight were chosen for membership in the organization for this coming year.
We will soon attend a recognition ceremony in Mexico City.
A Great Place to Work provided an anonymous questionnaire to all school personnel and collected the results. They evaluated our work place using five standard categories;
1. Credibility (two-way communication, competence, integrity)
2. Respect (professional support, collaboration, caring)
3. Fairness (equity, impartiality, justice)
4. Pride (job, team, organization)
5. Camaraderie (individuality, welcoming atmosphere, “family” feeling).
Here is the final slide in the presentation shared with our staff during our in-service day last week. The results speak for themselves. We will also use these results for further improvement efforts.
