Physical Education

The John F. Kennedy School Physical Education Department aims to develop students’ maximum physical potential, by offering a variety of activities that promote self-discipline, teamwork, and a commitment to a healthy lifestyle.

Physical Education Director Message

The practice of sports has always been at the heart of the Kennedy experience and an integral part of our Mission. Sports have helped us build a strong community where students, coaches and parents come together to become something greater than themselves. They drive us to set and maintain high standards of ethics, integrity and sportsmanship. Sports teach us to deal with success and disappointment, and to bring forward a better version of ourselves.

The positive actions of coaches, athletes and parents can influence not only how our school is perceived, but how we perceive ourselves. The discipline, effort, resilience and sportsmanship we display in the field can help us be better persons and build a stronger community. That is why I invite everyone to be a part of this great team… to embrace the jaguar spirit and to help the Kennedy keep growing through the excitement of sports.

We are proud to have more than 650 families, who enrich our 52 teams with their support and participation. Soccer is our strength. We have constantly obtained first place medals in ASOMEX, but this is not the medal we want to bring home. The medal we want to win is to make sports an essential part in all our 1500 students’ lives.
