- Science lab dress code is an important safety measure for your child, and has been approved by the general direction. Please make sure that on lab days, your child wears: denim jeans or JFK PE pants, "long" socks (they should not be "tines" and must cover up to half your calf), tennis shoes (not boots or any other "closed" shoes, tennis shoes have a slip-proof sole), white lab coat only with his/her name (those are already in the lab... or some students decided to keep their own in their lockers), ponytail if their hair is long (both boys and girls), and no bracelets or very long earrings. This information has been shared with your child and is also posted outside the lab.
- House activities are in full swing, and right now the North House is in the lead. We had a locker decoration contest on Friday, with four categories: Most Creative, Most Beautiful, Most Organized, and Most House Spirit. We will find out the winners next week. Finally, 8th grade house captains have also been nominated by their teachers!
