New Covid Protocols!

Last Friday, May 13th, exciting news rumbled through the High School’s Halls. During the different generations Study Halls on Friday, the news on the new covid protocols was announced. While the new measure doesn’t limit itself to just the High School, it certainly was something that created great joy and excitement for the students of said section. Mr. Bob announced that not only were students going to be able to not wear masks outside (if they choose so) while maintaining social distancing, but also that activities that had to be suspended due to the pandemic such as school trips might now be coming back on the next school year! When this news was shared amongst the students, their faces were filled with joy, and claps and cheers echoed through the High School. Most of us students (if not all), have been waiting and yearning for the day when everything seems to truly be getting back to normal, and with the declining number of Covid cases and these new protocols, now more than ever it seems to be becoming our reality once more!

This is certainly a big step for High School, and let´s be true to ourselves it will test most students and maybe even teachers to how they behave with this new protocol. But nevertheless this is an exciting step to getting something that is close to normal, especially with the possible upcoming school trips that all students have been missing throughout this pandemic. Us authors personally find this to be, for lack of a better term, really cool and it's relieving to see, slowly, that things are going to feel normal again. Although this might be a weird adjustment especially since we have to keep in mind there are still restrictions that we all need to respect. This is an amazing step to take all together.
