The Football & Volleyball Jaguar Cups!

The Jaguar Cup is a yearly school event organized by the sports community in the John F. Kennedy school. Much like ASOMEX, it consists of different schools from around Mexico coming together in one place, in this case it being the JFK school grounds and competing against each other over a weekend. This fun event is done for all kinds of sports; and from May 20th to 22nd, the Jaguar Cup focused on football and volleyball. Both from early hours of the morning to late in the afternoon, different teams competed against each other including the JFK teams to get a winning prize of a medal and a trophy if the teams won first to third place.

After 2 years of being incapable of going out, and even simply practicing a team sport, it is truly breathtaking to see that now we are slowly starting to get back to normal and enjoy this competitive activities once more like before. It is, although stressful and tiring sometimes, a wonderful thing that the Jaguar Cups managed to bring together parents, friends and other loved ones to come support the players during the entire weekend in which the school was filled with the cheers and happy noises that it longed for. There have been many good changes to the school, and if this year the Jaguar Cup was able to take place, then us authors hope to see more events similar to it the next school year!
