Firefighters activity
This week we celebrated our Firefighters Campaign and the children were very excited to meet the Firefighters and give the pantries collected for them. This event is aligned to our K3 unit of inquiry, which helps them learn about rules and what’s expected from them in different situations or contexts.
The firefighters taught them the main things they do, and what should the children do if there’s an emergency happening. It is very important for our children to know this information because it could change the course of a situation. And finally, the most fun part of the event is that they were able to ride the fire trucks and were very excited to do so.

Esta semana celebramos nuestra Campaña de Bomberos y los alumnos estuvieron muy emocionados de poder conocer a los bomberos y darles las despensas que se recolectaron para ellos. Este evento está alineado a la unidad de indagación de K3, en la cual están aprendiendo de las reglas y qué se espera de ellos ante diferentes situaciones.
Los bomberos le enseñaron las principales actividades que hacen y qué deben hacer los niños en caso de cualquier emergencia. Es muy importante que los niños conozcan esta información porque puede cambiar el curso de alguna situación comprometedora. Y finalmente, lo más padre del evento es que pudieron dar la vuelta en el camión de bomberos y sentirse como ellos.
