Regina, a 12th grade student, teaches the elective subject of Fashion Design in which 20 students from different HS grades participate.
Aranza, Karolina, Sofia M, Camila O, Camila M, Pavithra, Ana Sofia, Roberta Sch, Sofía G, Maria Juliana, María and Regina recently participated in the Anahuac Fashion Show, where they demonstrated their skills and knowledge acquired in this elective.
This optional subject arose as an idea from Regina, who has been passionate about fashion since she was little.
“Since I was very little I have had the idea of being a fashion designer, I have always had a vocation super inclined to fashion and all the school projects are related to that, I have looked for different ways to exploit it such as the Personal Project, the Extended Essay and everything about the IB. I made the proposal to set up a club and at first I thought it would just be me”, says Regina.
“I am still not sure where I will study but I would like to go abroad, where the field of employment is broader but I am in that process, maybe in Italy or Spain.”
Regarding her experience teaching this subject, Regina points out: “It is dedicating time in the afternoons and weekends to put together the projects and materials for the classes. I have taken various courses but at the same time I don't know much because it has been hard for me to be a student and a teacher but at the same time it has been incredible because the girls talk to me as a classmate and at the same time they respect me a lot in my class. I feel that they can identify with me and we understand each other very well, my class time is my favorite time of the week, this is Achieving the Extraordinary for me, it is the basis of what I want to study and it is my passion.
This is the second year that Regina has participated in the university parade, the first with her group of students. Regarding the experience, he points out: “they all had a very significant role, the most important thing was that each one had a model and was in charge of the change, that everything arrived on time and they passed them by. More than anything it was a lot of bonding with the group, it was an experience that united us a lot, something very unique that I don't see being done in other subjects and also, it is for social service since the money collected goes to a foundation.”

Regina, alumna de 12vo, imparte la materia optativa de Fashion Design en la que participan 20 alumnas de distintos grados de HS.

Sofía G, Maria Juliana, María y Regina participaron recientemente en el Anahuac Fashion Show, en donde demostraron sus habilidades y conocimientos adquiridos en esta materia.
Esta materia optativa surgió como una idea de Regina, quien desde pequeña es apasionada de la moda.
“Desde muy chiquita he tenido la idea de ser diseñadora de modas, siempre he tenido la vocación súper inclinada a la moda y todos los proyectos de la escuela los relaciono con eso, he buscado diferentes formas de poder explotarlo como el Proyecto Personal, el Extended Essay y todo lo del IB. Hice la propuesta de armar un club y al principio pensé que solo sería yo”, cuenta Regina.
“Aun no estoy segura en dónde estudiaré pero me gustaría irme al extranjero, en donde el campo laboral es más amplio pero estoy en ese proceso, tal vez en Italia o en España.”
Acerca de su experiencia impartiendo esta materia, Regina señala: “Es dedicarle tiempo en las tardes y fines de sema para armar los proyectos y materiales para las clases. He tomado diversos cursos pero al mismo tiempo no sé mucho por lo que me ha costado trabajo ser alumna y maestra pero al mismo tiempo ha sido increíble porque las niñas me hablan como compañera y al mismo tiempo me respetan mucho en mi clase. Siento que se pueden identificar conmigo y nos entendemos muy bien, mi hora de clases es mi momento favorito de la semana, esto sí es Achieving the Extraordinary para mi, es la base de lo quiero estudiar y es mi pasión.
Este es el segundo año que Regina participa en el desfile universitario, el primero con su grupo de alumnas. Sobre la experiencia señala: “todas tuvieron un rol muy significativo, lo más importante fue que cada una tenía una modelo y se encargaba del cambio, de que todo llegara a tiempo y las iban pasando, Más que nada fue mucho bonding cono grupo, fue una experiencia que nos unió mucho, algo muy único que no veo que se haga en otras materias y además, es para servicio social ya que lo recaudado va para una fundación.”
