In their technology class, students learned how to take pictures and selfies, as well as how to edit them with an Ipad program. Likewise, they learned that societies function according to established rules. From there, the students recognized what the rules are, what they are for, and how signs help us understand what rules there are for those places and why they are important.
With the Ipad, the students identified signs that are in Preschool and took photos of them.Taking the tour, they saw that the Gardening class did not have signs, even though they do require rules within the class for the care of animals, and plants as well as the class itself.
Together with Miss Antares they made the necessary rules and it was decided to make their own signs with photographs taken by themselves. The students decided which photos to take. With the photos taken, the posters that Miss Antares will use in her Gardening Class with all the students were made.

Los alumnos de K3, participaron en la realización de pósters de señalética para su clase de Gardening, esto como resultado de una actividad interdisciplinaria de la Unidad 1 “How we organize ourselves”, del PYP (Primary Years Program).
En su clase de tecnología, los alumnos de K3 aprendieron cómo tomar selfies y fotos, así como a editarlas en un programa en el Ipad. Asimismo, trabajando la unidad 1 de PYP “How we organize ourselves”, aprendieron que las sociedades funcionan bajo normas establecidas. De ahí, los alumnos reconocieron qué son las reglas, para qué sirven y cómo las señalizaciones nos ayudan a entender qué reglas hay para esos lugares y por qué son importantes.
Con el Ipad, los alumnos identificaron las señalizaciones que tenemos en Preschool y les iban tomando fotos. Haciendo el recorrido vieron que la clase de Gardening no tenía señalizaciones aun cuando sí requieren tener reglas dentro de la clase para el cuidado de los animales y plantas, así como de la misma clase.
Junto con Miss Antares hicieron las reglas necesarias y se decidió hacer sus propias señalizaciones con fotografías tomadas por ellos mismos. Los alumnos decidieron qué fotos tomar. Ya con las fotos tomadas se hicieron los posters que Miss Antares usará dentro de su clase de Gardening con todos los alumnos.
