FCD Prevention Works is a health organization that provides guidance and training to schools and community peer leadership programs. John F. Kennedy School and the FCD partnered in 2015, recognizing the use of the concrete data to formulate a comprehensive approach to substance abuse prevention.
In 2015 we started implementing a survey for students from 8th to 12th grade called FCD Student Attitudes and Behavior Survey, and the main goal is to give decisive information to create a solid plan for conferences and activities for the substance abuse prevention for students and parents. This year the survey will be held on March 8th.
Remember that in order to have an addiction free community, we must all work together in prevention practices, this way we will have a healthier and happier community.
The first goal of prevention is to support those students already making healthy choices.

FCD Prevention Works
FCD Prevention Works es una organización de salud que ofrece programas y recursos de prevención comunitarios y escolares. La FCD comenzó su asociación con la escuela John F. Kennedy School a partir del 2015, reconociendo la utilidad de los datos concretos para formular un enfoque integral para la prevención del abuso de sustancias.
Desde el 2015 realizamos una encuesta a alumnos de entre 8vo y 12vo llamada FCD Student Attitudes y Encuesta de Comportamiento, que tiene como objetivo arrojar información determinante para la planeación de actividades y conferencias de prevención para alumnos y padres de familia. Este año la encuesta se realizará el 8 de marzo.
Recordemos que, para vivir en una comunidad libre de adicciones, debemos implementar prácticas de prevención entre todos, y así tendremos una comunidad saludable y feliz.
El primer objetivo de la prevención es apoyar a aquellos estudiantes que ya están tomando decisiones saludables.
