Dear JFK Community,
Yesterday and today, due to human error, the retreat and evacuation alarms were activated, respectively. Despite not being scheduled as a drill, we take pride in the response from everyone—students, teachers, and staff. We are pleased to report that there was no risk involved in these situations.
We are aware that these exercises can lead to emotional crisis for both students and teachers. That is why the team of psychologists in each section is ready to provide support to anyone in need.
It is our responsibility as a school to be prepared for any contingency. We appreciate your understanding and would like to remind you that these types of exercises, both scheduled and surprise, will continue throughout the school year.

Estimada Comunidad JFK,
El día de ayer y hoy, por una falla humana, se dispararon las alarmas de repliegue y evacuación respectivamente. A pesar de no haber estado programadas para simulacro, estamos orgullosos ante la respuesta de todos, alumnos, maestros y personal, y nos es grato reportar que no hubo ninguna situación de riesgo.
Sabemos que estos ejercicios pueden derivar en crisis emocionales tanto en alumnos como en maestros, es por ello que el equipo de psicólogas de cada sección están en la mejor disposición de brindar apoyo a quien lo necesite.
Es nuestra responsabilidad como escuela estar preparados para cualquier contingencia. Agradecemos su comprensión, y les recordamos que este tipo de ejercicios, programados y sorpresa, continuarán durante el ciclo escolar
