Dear parents of students in 10th, 11th and 12th grade:
I write to you with the news that you as parents of students in the high school grade levels 10, 11 and 12 will be able to apply for a different type of school ID for your child(ren) that allows freedom of access into (and out of) campus beginning in January 2024.
I appreciate that for many of you, it gives you peace of mind to know that your child(ren) will be on campus from 7:30 to 2:20 and may not leave without your consent, and so that will continue to be the case for all students unless you as a parent of an individual student decide to make a change. On the other hand, I also appreciate that many of you as parents already trust your child(ren) with certain responsibilities and autonomy when it comes to freedom of movement so we are bringing back the entirely optional 'Purple Pass' that existed before the pandemic.
As a parent of a student or students in 10th, 11th or 12th grade you have two options:
- Do nothing, and your child(ren) will continue with their same green ID for the rest of the year, and will not have permission to leave campus without your consent.
- Choose to replace your child(ren)'s existing ID with the purple one ready for January 2024. If this is your choice, please follow the steps below.

- Firstly, you must write an email to Ms. Caro [email protected] requesting the 'Purple Pass Form', which she will send to you digitally.
- You must make a payment of $300 pesos to the account 2677730729 at HSBC, bank code 021680026777307299, to the beneficiary Escuela John F. Kennedy, A.C. This payment is to cover the cost of providing the replacement school credential card that will be necessary to leave the campus.
- You must send both the proof of payment AND the completed permission form to the email [email protected]

Estimados padres de familia de 10°, 11° y 12° grado:
Les escribo con la noticia de que ustedes como padres de alumnos en High School en 10°, 11° y 12° grado, podrán solicitar una credencial de la escuela de diferente tipo para sus hijos a quienes les permitirá tener libre acceso (entrada y salida) al campus a partir de enero 2024.
Aprecio que a muchos de ustedes les brinda tranquilidad saber que sus hijos están en el campus de 7:30 a 14:20 y no podrán salir sin su consentimiento. Eso seguirá siendo así para todos los alumnos a menos que ustedes, como padres de un alumno en particular, decidan hacer un cambio. Por otro lado, entiendo también que muchos de ustedes como padres confían a sus hijos ciertas responsabilidades y autonomía en cuanto a la libertad de movimiento, así que estamos reintroduciendo el 'Pase Morado', completamente opcional, que existía antes de la pandemia.
Como padre/madre de alumnos en 10°, 11° o 12° grado tienen dos opciones:
- No hacer nada y sus hijos continuarán con la misma credencial verde el resto del ciclo escolar y no tendrán permiso de salir del campus sin su consentimiento.
- Escoger reemplazar la credencial existente con una morada a partir de enero 2024. Si esta es su elección por favor sigan los siguientes pasos:

- Primero deberán escribir por correo a Ms. Caro [email protected] solicitando el formato para “Purple pass” mismo que recibirán de forma digital.
- Hacer el pago de $300 pesos a la cuenta 2677730729 de HSBC, clabe 021680026777307299 a nombre de Escuela John F. Kennedy, A.C. Este pago es para cubrir el costo por el reemplazo de credencial que necesitarán para salir del campus.
- Enviar comprobante de pago y formato debidamente llenado al correo [email protected]
Nota: Se deberá completar el proceso antes de Navidad. La credencial se les entregará el 8 de enero, primer día de clases.
