Physical Education Program
Our morning PE program links objectives and activities from Preschool through High School, providing a sequence. It was designed to reach a profile with specific physical, coordinative and behavioral abilities. Strength, resistance and flexibility goals were established for every grade and age to be reached, as well as coordination, body awareness and health. Achieving discipline, tolerance to frustration and teamwork, are also part of these goals.
We have full time teachers in every section, which allows them to have a better follow up and knowledge of each student’s progress. They have specific goals to reach and, regardless of the area of expertise, each coach is an expert on each age group. All of our coaches, aside from having a degree in Sports Education, have gone through a certification process by the pertaining institutions.
Our PE program involves a new way of teaching. The key is to drive every one of our students to be achievers. This means not only having everybody active, but to have every student reach their own goal. This is how the old scheme, where only the most skilled and proactive students got results, changes to a perspective where every student, regardless of their physical abilities, attitudes or personality, experiences the social, emotional and physical benefits of PE.
